Christmas Traditions

Preparing for Christmas was especially memorable and fun this year we had two little girls who knew what was going on.  They could not contain their excitement as we did each little thing to get ready.  We really tried to focus it on Christ this year by reading a scripture each night about Him and talking about it constantly.  Here are some shots of our Christmas traditions we love!

Every year Daddy gets a tin of the 3 flavored popcorn...the girls love their popcorn! They were so excited to try each kind.  Kind of disappointed though, they have changed the cheese to a white cheddar instead of the good old orange stuff!

It was Kiera's turn this year to put the star on top of the tree, she was so excited!

We had to make sugar cookies with our friends and then deliver them to neighbors.  Good times!

I am pretty sure that Jade ate more sprinkles than what ended up on the cookies!

One Monday night, Santa came to our Kneaders.  Of course we had to go see him. The girls found the Elf on the Shelf to get a sucker--these crazy girls will do anything or a piece of sugar!

Jade loved sitting on Santa's lap.

All she asked for a was a "toy friend frog."  Not sure what she means by that but hopefully Santa does!

Kiera told Santa she just wants a bouncy ball and a sucker!

She was a little more apprehensive about sitting on his lap but at least there was no screaming involved.:)

We had to have a dinner of their famous french toast as it was only $5 that night....yum!

My girls and Santa--they had to sit on his lap one more time before we left.
