Corn Maze

Some friends in our ward grew lots of corn this year and invited the kids over to play in their "maze."  The girls had so much fun running through the maze with their friends!

Aiden & Ellie's Birthday

Aiden turned 3 and Ellie turned 1 in August as well.  We have lots of family birthdays in this month!  In fact, Ellie was born exactly on Jade's 3rd bday!

Family Birthday Party

Later that week, we had a family birthday party for Jadee Lady too!

My attempt at a Rapunzel donut tower.  Jade requested pink frosting with sprinkles...they were sure yummy but did not stand up so well!

Jade with Grandma and Grandpa Revelli.  She had a lot of fun with these two as they came down earlier that day and took her to lunch at Chuck E. Cheese!  What a fun date with her grandparents. Jade could not stop talking about how much fun she had!

One of her favorite gifts was her new scooter from Aunt Heidi & Uncle Michael.  She was quite a pro from the get go!  

The Day of Jade's Birthday

On Jade's actual birthday, we filled her door frame up with balloons so it they would avalanche on her when she opened the door.  Funny thing though, Ben wanted to see her face before he left for work, so he was banging on the wall, we were yelling her name, everything we could think of to get her to open that door!  Well, this little lady likes her sleep!  After about 1/2 hour of trying, we gave one last bang on the wall and heard a faint mutter of waking on the other side.  She finally peeked out and was quite surprised by what met her!

Little sister was a great helper to make the balloons staticky so they would stick to the door!

That afternoon, Jade had a small party with some of her friends.  She wanted a Rapunzel party, so everyone wore their best princess dresses. This is her and Tiana--her friend Bailey.

I made the cupcakes in ice cream cones and all the kids thought they were ice cream!  You should have seen their faces and heard their reactions as they bit into their "ice cream!" Priceless!

We also played tangle up the princess...the girls did not know what to think at first of this game, but they soon got super into wrapping each other up!
