Treehouse Museum with Friends

We took a trip to the Treehouse Museum with our friends Audra and Reagan.  Once again the girls had way too much fun! They are obsessed with any emergency vehicle that makes the siren sound...so this fire truck was a big hit.

Cutest little Indian Squaws...Reagan and Jade.

The girls put on a show for us at their medieval theater...

Contemplating her next move...

Going to be a baby nurse just like Grandma...Jade was a natural taking care of the babies...

Or maybe she will be a teacher like her Mama...teacher Jade...

Super proud of her Indian Feather necklace she made. I love that this is a learning museum and they have make and take crafts all over.

Kiera riding her horse...yee haw!

Yee-Haw!

Ok so maybe she liked the real horse a little better!

She didn't get bucked off!  Rodeo here we come!

Finally, Kiera had a try at pulling the sword out of the stone. She got super frustrated when it would not come out, poor girl!

Field Trip to the Gateway & Clark Planetarium

At the end of July I had an outing for my school at the Clark Planetarium in Salt Lake.  We made it an official girls day and went up a little early, at lunch at Applebee's and then played in the Gateway water fountains.

Jade and Kiera both got spaghetti and they enjoyed slurping those long noodles.  Could not resist taking some pics, silly girls!

They stared at the water for a while before deciding it was okay to go in...

Needless to say they had a great time!  We actually had to go buy Jade some dry clothes so that she would not freeze at the planetarium!

Finally, at the planetarium, Kiera walked on the moon....

so did Jade!

Jade bounced around on Mars...

touched a real meteorite...

Both girls touched electricity and got all staticky!

And finally made a cloud...

Kiera looks super enthused about the cloud....ha ha!

Kiera = big girl now!

We started the potty training adventure with Kiera this summer.  She was ready and wanted to wear panties like big sister.  So we began loading her up with tons of juice and water...  Jade loved this as you can see because she got to drink special juice too!

Having learned from Jade, I just went straight for the panties and we stayed in the kitchen for 3 days straight until she got the idea.  However, it did take a little longer than 3 days and there was a point I put her in pull-ups because I could not handle 10+ accidents a day.  :0)

She sure was proud of her minnie mouse panties that she picked out.  And of course no trip to the potty is complete without taking B along!

Finally about two months after we started, Kiera was potty trained enough to call it good.  We are still working on the at night training...but she rarely has an accident now.  As her reward for being trained, she picked a scooter just like Big sister Jade's.  Here she is trading in her potty sticker chart for her scooter.  Notice on her sticker chart that she did not put one in every square, but when I looked closer I noticed she grouped like stickers together (she put all the Elmo ones in one square, all the Cookie Monsters in another, and so on).  Such a SMART girl!

She picked out the color red and we were so impressed with her balancing skills.  She did awesome!

Jax Baby Blessing

My new nephew Jax was blessed in July.  We got all the Revelli side cousins together for a photo shoot.  Silly girls and poor Jax just relaxing...He doesn't know what he is in for surrounded by all these girlies!

Finally one where everyone was looking!

Crazy girls...matching dresses courtesy of Grandma Revelli.

Yep, those two with limbs in the air are mine!

Maybe she thought she was flying!

Proud new parents...and very tired! :)

The girls always have too much fun when they get together...

Kiera was helping Daddy drive my car...watch out!

No family outing would be complete without a sport of some sort...today was soccer. I guess Jade was taking a break?!

Good form...learning from Uncle Troy.

Kiera loves to do anything her Daddy does...

Proud Grandma holding the bundled up Jax...it was a bit windy that day!
