A First for Jade...

I heard of it happening to other kids and even seen pictures to prove it, but it finally happened to us! Jade actually fell asleep at the table while eating. She was super tired after a day of playing at the park and I guess it all caught up to her. Funny thing, though, she kept right on sleeping even through all of Kiera's noises! Oh to be a kid again, and have the ability to sleep through anything!

Living Planet Aquarium

This week we were able to go to the Living Planet Aquarium with my friend Steph and her little girl, Eliza. The girls had so much fun looking at all the fish. Jade kept calling all the fish, "Nemo," no matter what kind they were. She was fascinated by this shark!

My two crazy girls....so much fun!

The girls absolutely loved the penguins. I wish we would have gotten some pictures of the real ones, but they had fun sitting by this guy! True to kid form, no one really wants to look at the camera when you can look at each other!!

Kiera and Eliza are 3 weeks apart and had a lot fun talking to each other. It was great to see them interact. Eliza loved touching Kiera, and Kiera just babbled back to her.

Ten Months!

Kiera's 1st Tooth!!

Kiera's first tooth finally popped through last week and she has discovered that cold things feel so good on her little gums! Her new favorite food is frozen Gogurts!

She is very good at holding them in her mouth, and only occasionally paints her table with them!

Now, I am not sure this counts as a new favorite food, but it is her favorite thing to chew on! Such a funny girl! Jade will turn this ball popper on and Kiera sticks her head right in the air blowing out and laughs and laughs!

Such a silly girl!

Frosty the Snowman

We finally got enough snow this year to go out and play in! Jade has been dying to wear her new snow boots and snow suit. We bundled her up and built a quick snowman one night...

At first all she wanted to do was play in the snow. It is so fun that she is now old enough to enjoy playing in it. You may ask, where are her gloves? Well, as with any kid, she promptly takes them off, I guess they get in the way of touching the snow!!

Putting the hat on Frosty...

Adding eyes, mouth, nose and buttons.

Jade called her snowman Frosty, she has been obsessed with that show ever since Christmas time when she watched it at least once a day!

Each day after this, she would look out the window and say hi to Frosty. Also, anytime we would go outside she would run right over to him and talk to him like he was alive. She would stand and look at him like, why isn't he talking back to me (like on the movie)!

Jade's Frosty the Snowman

There was even some time, and enough snow, to have Daddy pull her around in the sled!

She absolutely loved it and did not want Ben to stop. However, Papa got very tired after pulling her around the yard several times and then around the block! What a good Papa!
