We went to playgroup at a friend's relative house and they had a mini farm in their backyard. Jade enjoyed playing with the new puppies. Poor girl did so well after it threw up all over her pants just a few seconds after this picture was taken. I am so not an fan of animals but after seeing my kiddos with these cute puppies it is slightly tempting....maybe someday when they can help take care of the things!
Jade showing off her chicken egg that she gets to take home! She was so proud of this and carried it all the way home. When we got home, she wanted to open it to find her baby chick inside. We had to have a talk about how there was not going to be a baby chick but it was just to eat. She seemed okay and we cooked it right up, yummy scrambled eggs. Funny story though and wish I had a picture--Kiera also got an egg, was so careful and got it all the way home. But then as we were about to pull the stroller into the house, I hear this panicked scream. I turn around to find egg yolk all over Kiera's hands, down her leg and on the sidewalk. Poor girl had squished it right when we got home. Jade was so nice and shared another egg she had with her sister, so we could all enjoy some fresh scrambled eggs. Kiera was so sad that her egg broke and kept mumbling all day, "egg...broke..."
Jade sporting her new hat from Amazon...what do you think? This girl has quite the imagination and I love it!
Finally, here is Jade doing some M&M math and learning to spell her name too!
