Kiera came to us one day and said her finger was hurting. It was night time and it just looked red. We sent her to bed and in the morning there was a giant yellow blister on that finger. We poked it with a pin to get the pus out and boy did it ever come out! Yikes, Ben had to take care of it because it made me sick. We called our brother in law Dr. and sent him the pics and he immediately called her in an antibiotic. He said it was just an infection, probably caused by having a small cut or hangnail and then she put it in her mouth. The bacteria just kept growing each time she sucked her finger. He just said to take the antibiotic and keep soaking it and squeezing it to get the pus about 2-3 times a day. Poor girl was so brave, I know it had to hurt. It healed up in about a week. Needless to say it cured her of sticking her fingers in her mouth!
