New bikes!

As the weather has been warming up...Ben got Kiera this balance bike to give her some good practice.  She loved it and is doing so well at it.

We are so lucky to have awesome friends and neighbors with older girls who like to give us the stuff they outgrow!  Jade got this cool new bike today from them.  She is doing so well and I bet by the end of summer those training wheels will be history! Our little girl is really growing up, I cannot she will be 5 in August!  

Cousin Nicole's Baptism

Cousin Nicole was baptized this month and in celebration we made her a little pillowcase that went with a fun saying about staying clean.  This was my first attempt at such a project and I think it turned out quite well.  Jade had fun helping me too!

Jade is night-trained!

Jadee Lady is now officially potty trained at night.  She decided to do this on her own so she could earn her "Croods" movie.  Every night she says how thankful she is for this movie in her prayers.  She is so funny, we love her!

Uncle Cole's Senior Basketball Night

We made the trip up to E-town again to see Cole play on his senior night!  Love watching him!

Grandma and Aunt Kae helped us make fun shirts to cheer Uncle Cole on!  The girls absolutely loved their shirts!

Jade's mini-dance Recital

Jade has been in real ballet class at the rec center this winter and she is absolutely loving it!  She certainly has the build for it and loves to dance.  Every moment she gets, every song she hears, she takes the opportunity to dance.  Good things she has more rhythm than her Mama!

Valentine's Day 2014

A few days before Valentine's day, we had a playgroup party with some friends.  The kids loved it and had so much fun playing games, eating and exchanging valentine's with their friends.  Thanks to Nicky for putting it all together!  

Kiera only wanted to sit at her table the whole time, no games for her!  But I did get this kooky looking face out of her!

She did come alive when she got some whistling plastic lips!

Jade loved the "button button game!" I need to remember these old games from when I was a kid, she would love them!

On the actual morning of Valentine's I made the girls some heart shaped eggs and pancakes.  I think they liked them...

Video games

The girls new favorite thing to do....play video games with Daddy!  I have told them I am not a big fan of video games so they have to have Daddy play with them.  Well he certainly doesn't mind doing that and the girls just eat it up.  It is really funny watching them and they are both doing very well at controlling things. I have to limit their time though, or Jade would literally play all day!  Hmmm...wonder who she gets that from!

A few of their favorites right now are Lego Star Wars (go figure!), Toy Story, and Start the Party.
